Rev. Ray Wiggins
Rev. Ray Wiggins has joined us as our Spiritual Leader after having served for 14 years as Spiritual Leader of Unity South Atlanta Church.
Prior to Atlanta, Ray served for 7 years in the world headquarters of Unity for The Association of Unity Churches, where he was the International Education Consultant for Children, Teens and Families. There he helped create curriculum, trained the Regional Consultants, and managed Youth of Unity and Adults of Unity.
Ray has been awarded The Distinguished Youth Services Award by Unity. He is a Licensed Unity Teacher, and a Unity Certified Spiritual Educator for Children and Youth. Ray holds an MA in Christian Education and served for 25 Years as a Youth Director in the United Methodist Church.
Ray brings to us experience as a CEO having served in that capacity with The Cumberland Chapter of The National Hemophilia Foundation and with The Hank Snow Foundation For The Prevention of Child Abuse.
Ray’s stint as a radio announcer/disc jockey in Nashville as well as his training in speech and voice prepared him well for delivering his Sunday Lessons. He enjoys music, dancing, golf, and travel; he especially enjoys travel to the world’s best beaches. We think he has reached one of his goals with his new home next to the beach in Oceanside.
